My top 10 least favorite Avengers

Image
So here we go. There have been nearly 200 avengers, and even an ultra fan boy like me isnt going to like ALL of them. Here are the 10 I like the least....at least on the team. I should note that I actually like 6 of these characters....one of whom (#10) is likely one of my top 10 favorite comic character period....I just dont like them as avengers, they dont fit. Also a note for the ranking. I have yet to read much of anything past the end of the heroic age, at least for the main titles. So pretty much any members introduced by Jonathan Hickman wont be on this list. Which is probably good for him, since based on what little Ive read so far, I think most of his characters would make this list, as his style and the size of his roster leaves no time for any real character development. Also on the "side series" I've only read those up to about October of 2014. So again anyone added/re-added since then isnt included. #10 Storm So Brian Michael Bendis was the write

Top 10 most important Avengers

So, for an organization thats gone 60 years and boasts near 200 remember, the simple fact is, some of them just cant be as important to the group as others. So who are the most Important Avengers? (note I am not saying these are the best avengers or most powerful, just that if one were to write a history of the Avengers, these are the 10 you would HAVE to focus on.) #10 Hulk Its funny in a way, Hulk's tenure in the avengers would barely be a footnote....if not for one thing. He was there when it all started. See Hulk was actually the menace the Avengers came together to face...before realizing Loki was behind the whole thing and joining with the Hulk to take him down.....although not to long after that Hulk quit the team for about the next 50 years. Thing is, he quit in Issue 2. Which was basically unheard of in comics at the time, no major character was written out that fast, it was in part his quitting that helped put the team on the map in the first place. In unive

Top 10 Laziest Pokemon designs.

Image
So one of big issues debated by many pokemon fans is where Nintendo just stopped trying when it came to creating new Pokemon....after all, there are 721 (counting the 2 that as of yet exist only as code in X and Y) and no one has that many good ideas. Now where most fans go wrong is they assume the designers of Pokemon ran out of ideas at a fixed date, usually the release of a new generation, with everything before it being inspired and everything after sucking ass. This is far from the case as you are about to see. Now one more quick clarification I'm not saying these pokemon are bad to use....hell just look at the #10 entry and you can see thats not true.  And I'm not even saying these pokemon designs are bad (one of them #4 is actually one of my favorite pokemon designs). All these are are the designs that most clearly seem to have created with the least amount of effort put in to them...I assume most of these were created right before it was time to clock out for the

Top 10 "bad" avengers.

Image
Ok so before we get started, a quick clarification about what I mean as "bad' avengers...I dont mean Avengers who were or are villains (although some of them do make this list) I mean the avengers who have done more harm then good over their stint on the team, to the point that arguably (less arguably as we get closer to the top) the Avengers would have been much better off if these 10 members had NEVER joined the team in the first place. So with that definition in mind, we start the list with a long time fan favorite: #10 The Vision Normally the Vision is considered one of the most popular, powerful and long standing members of the team. But then there was the time he was team leader......and tried to take over the world by taking over all the worlds electronic systems. Granted he was stopped and he got disassembled for that and turned into a colorless robot with no personality, and it would take him over a decade to regain both his colors and his personality,

Top 10 best things in Mass Effect part 2

Ok, so for those just joining us, the first half of this list can be found here , the "worst parts" of mass effect here and here . Now without further ado the top 5 best parts of Mass Effect, and the end of my series on Mass Effect (for the moment) #5. Interrupts. Mass Effect 2 Another major gameplay mechanic change in Mass Effect 2…and another one that massively improved the game. No longer were you required to dump valuable and rare skill points into charm/intimidate skills to avoid playing as generic Shepard and instead be a paragon or renegade. Now you have the chance to take (or not take) actions in the game (IE throw a guy out a window, push over a stoned volus to save his life, electrocute a guy with his tools to prevent him from killing you later ect) to make your shepard more paragon or renegade….and the more of one choice you made, the more options you had to continue to act that way/make choices/dialogue options that made you fit that role. Or it jus

Top 10 best things in Mass Effect part 1

So last time out I did the 10 worst parts of one of my favorite video game series, Mass Effect. And now that we got the bad and depressing out of the way, its time to move over to a high note. So without any further ado, part 1 of the 10 best things in Mass Effect #10    Steve Cortez. Mass Effect 3 In my opinion Steve Cortez was one of the best parts of Mass Effect 3. Not for his character per say (which was at least on par with most of the playable squadmates) but for the role he played as Shepards shuttle pilot. Until I played ME3, it had never really crossed my mind to wonder about who was flying the Shuttle that Shepard took everywhere in ME2….and now thanks to Cortez, that question bothers me every time. And hell, simply having a shuttle pilot seemed to open the door to having things actually happen in the shuttle….like briefings, conversations, or even using it offensively, things that were only made possible by the realization Shepard wasn’t actually busy flying the dam
