Top 10 Pokemon whose types dont make sense

Image
Ok so with the release of Pokemon Sun and Moon we had the introduction of something called Alolan forms, these are versions of classic pokemon, but with new and different typing's (and also appearances, though thats not relevant to this blog.) And I have to be honest, its pretty cool and pretty realistic as well (think of the different types as being similar to different species of say dog, or even something much more generalized like how Orangutans from either of the two islands they inhabit look different from each other). Now personally I'm kinda hoping this trend continues, and if it does hopefully the next round includes these guys....because as it stands none of these pokemon's typings have ever really made sense. (Also note, unless specified, assume these entries apply to all pre/final evolution of the pokemon with the same typing) Gyarados Seriously why is this thing flying type? it has no wings, nothing that looks like wings, and have NEVER been seen flyi

Best Pokemon Starter of every Generation

So everyone who plays Pokemon knows the first major choice you have to make is your Starter. Now not only is your starter pokemen 1 of 3 pokemon who cant be found anywhere else in the game, not only does your starter have better than normal base stat's, your starter can literally affect the make up of your entire team. For example if you pick the water type, you suddenly find yourself with no real reason to catch about 50% of the pokemon in the game (who are all water types). Where as if you pick the fire type, your likely going to need a steel or rock type on the team (fire tends to be "glass cannon" attackers, so you need a pokemon type with good defense). And of course, your starter can even affect the games difficulty, especially at the beginning where it mattered the most. For example in Gen 1, the Grass Starter had type advantage against the first two gyms and a slight advantage resisting the 3rd, the Water starter had the type advantage against the first gym, n

Ranking the Pokemon Games (generation 1-6)

Unless youve been hiding under a rock, you probibly know Pokemon Sun and Moon release this Friday, starting the 7th generation of the Pokemon Franchise. So this seems like a great time to see which of the other games did great and which flopped. So with that in mind I'm ranking all the pokemon games from worst to best....well most of them anyways. I've never played Black 2 and White 2, or the Japanese Red and Green, so they wont be included. Also "3rd versions" such as Emerald, Platinum and Crystal are so similar to their original paired games, they will be including in those games rankings. However Yellow is different enough from the american Red and Blue as to get its own spot, especially as it played on a different system (GB color as opposed to original Gameboy) Lastly I chose to do this list by paired games and not by generations because it seemed to be the only fair way to handle the remakes, since they tend to get improvements over the earlier games of
