I know, I said I would be doing the best champions in WWE history next....and I will...but its taking a bit longer than I though (seriously you know how many great candidates their are just for the intercontinental championship? not to mention the WWE title.....) So while I'm working to get that wrapped up there was this thing called Wrestlemania last night....hopefully you saw it. But if you didnt, dont worry thats what I'm here for with my first ever Wrestlemania review. Now this isnt going to be a blow by blow review......cause again if your reading this, I assume you saw the show......its just a quick overview of my opinion on each match and a 1 to 5 ranking of how good it was. So with that said, we start where Wrestlemania did: Match #1 US Championship match between Kalisto and Ryback. So its that time of year again for wrestling fans, its WRESTLEMANIA Season. So in honor of tomorrows Wrestlemania 32 I figure I'll do a look back at the best and worst champion for each title in WWE history. Of course, as I like to end on high notes, we start with the worst. Now some quick rules, 1) First we are only looking at championships recognized by the WWE and champions who won the belt under the WWE banner.  This means for example, that the WCW Championship IS recognized championship, however Ric Flair is ineligible for this list as none of his reigns occurred during the time WWE controlled the belt. Booker T meanwhile WOULD be eligible as his 4th and 5th title reign happened under the WWE banner, but only his last 2 reign would be considered for his standings on either list. By the same token the ECW world title under the WWE banner is eligible, but the ECW tag titles are not as they never appeared in WWE.  2) any titles whos histories are considered one and the...

So this week makes the 20th anniversary of Pokemon, the rerelease of the Generation 1 games for 3DS systems and the official announcement of Generation 7. So it seemed like a good time to do some more pokemon blogs. And when I looked back at what I'd already done, I realized that despite doing my top 15 favorite a while back ....I never did my least favorite. So this seems like the best tiem to correct that. 10) Combee This thing is god damn useless. Note specifically that that is a picture of a male Combee, as the Female does eventually evolve into the pretty decent Vespiquen. But the thing is,the species is 88% male. Also in its debut Generation (IV), it could only be caught by using honey......a process that involved several hours per attempt (and remember the uber common males are fucking useless. Sure it finally became easier to find in the second set of Gen V, but still Oh and to top it all off, the damn thing learns 3 moves (4 in gens V and VI) and cant learn TMs ...

I've wanted to do a video game review for a while. Problem is, I tend to only buy or play older games, and especially since my new years resolution was not to buy any games until at least 6 months after release, because of issues I've addressed before, it didnt look like something I'd get to do. That said my resolution DID come with one exception, Nintendo games, because Nintendo as a company tends to avoid my biggest issue with new games (being unfinished and full of glitches). However even with that exception, Nintendo only had 2 games coming out this year I wanted for a system I have (3DS), and as I just bought the second of those games, this is my one and only shot to do this. Now for the most part this review will be spoiler free. There will be a single exception however, as their is one event in the game, that occurs in chapter 4 that has a large impact on my view of the game. So one of the most important parts of any Wrestler is his finishing maneuver...this is his big move, the move designed to get the fans out of their seats in excitement. In many respects this can be the most important move the wrestler has. So you would assume of course, that all of these moves would be fantastic.....you would assume wrong. These are 10 of the worst finishing maneuvers in the industry. They are considered the worst because they either dont believably look like they would keep the other guy down long enough to be pinned, are overly complicated, or are common moves in the arsenal of ever wrestler.   It is worth noting though that 8 of these 10 moves were used by WWE Hall of Famers or future Hall of Famers as their main finisher during the most popular part of their career. (and that a 9th was used by a future hall of famer, but he changed to a better finisher before be coming popular). So if you read my earlier blog about how the internet is ruining gaming, you may have noticed I devoted entire subsection on Season Passes pretty much exclusively to the new Star Wars Battlefront game. And one of the big things I hit it for was the fact that the Season Pass costs nearly as much as the game did at launch (and now actually costs MORE, since they had to cut the price of the game weeks after its launch once people discovered it was near barren on content), and that they provided basically NO information on the Season Pass contents, meaning you were taking a huge gamble if you bought it. Well today you got to find out if your gamble paid off. Now first off I do want to say that Battlefront isnt a bad game. The content thats there plays decently enough, and looks and sounds fantastic, and for a casual gamer who's only going to play when the urge strikes them, its not a bad game......provided you dont pay full price for it.
